You’ve seen them, you’ve typed into them, and you’ve wondered just how they work! Welcome to the magical world of spread sheets. On November 14, we will take a look at Google Sheets. This is a spreadsheet (kind of like Excel) that is great to learn on. In 15 to 20 minutes we will get an understanding of what a spreadsheet really is, and how to get more out of it than just a convenient table. We will learn the following:
1. Create a spreadsheet
2. Format the cells of a sheet
3. Enter data into a sheet
4. Use auto-fill
5. Use equations to crunch data
6. Sort data
7. Filter data
8. Share your spreadsheet with others
Wow! You’ll be armed with some powerful computing skills after this one! Again, we’ll do all this in 15 to 20 minutes at the start of each period. Drop by when it is most convenient for you.
I’ll be sending you an Outlook invitation to attend the training. Accepting the invitation will put this training on your Outlook calendar. It does not commit you to the training if you decide not to come.
